I really like The Slip. My favorite song is Children of December. I was dating a boy last year that liked them, and the only good that came out of that relationship was an awareness of that band... If you like The Slip you might just be into your local music scene. If you are, there's this really cool site (http://www.radiofire.net) that's an online radio station that plays music from local artists. You should check it out.
