The Virtue of Logic

The great merit of David Hayes' post is its reliance on logic. The sheer awfulness of the terror attacks leads many to reaffirm their emotions in the guise of policy notions. In truth, these reaffirmations are nothing but emotional reboots. In the midst of the haze of feeling, David's call to a stark confrontation of ideals stands out as a bold launching point for the necessary discussion.
