Mamun Ahmed graduated in War Studies, from the Department of War Studies, King's College, London. He is currently serving as a Research Associate at the Center for Terrorism Research based within the Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies. He is Assistant Editor of it's monthly online publication, South Asia Focus. He is involved in several research projects focusing particularly on security issues affecting South Asia.
