Why Don't People Like America?

Pleasant Greetings to All, This is my first post to the site, however, I have read several posts on different topics. America is unique, trapped in the control of traditional ancient war based economic thinking, with more powerful weapons than at any other time in the history of mankind. Some people want to use these new weapons to gain control of real estate and natural resources in lands other than where they live, often to the detriment of the people in the land where the desired real estate or resource is located. Scientific research into Human personality Type is not an easy task, however much has been done to distinguish between preferential behavior choices relative to 16 core sets of definable characteristics; based on the work of Jung, or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I go a couple steps further in my approach to understanding the core relationship between free will choice characteristics and environmental influences that lead people, with help of traditional thinking, news bias, political bias, religious bias, etc. to behave like the current U.S. "leaders." Cutting to the point, I define "the problem" with "world leadership" as one most closely related to "the most willing to kill" attitude; attitude being a personality type issue. George Bush stated in one of the debates with John Kerry that "I know how the world should be run." I am no more a Kerry supporter than a supporter of either main U.S. political party, and I do not believe one person can "know how the world should be run." Personally, I believe an entirely new set of laws needs to be written that is up to date, and not something from 1776 or prior. True or open Democracy needs to be tested. No reliable test can be effectively utilized if the people involved are not playing with all the cards in the deck, or if a few of the people are secretly withholding cards that contain important to everyone information. I can not save the world all by myself, but I have a good start on a New Constitution for the United States of America as a test environment. Currently, I believe America is a Totalitarian system, and has been for decades. I have up close and personal experience with armed agents of the U.S. government on my personal private property who accused me "trying to overthrow the U.S. government." "Democracy is the only form of revolution I am interested in" I told them; and "to get off my property." Actually, "the people" who are the U.S. government have spent a great deal of time, money, and energy investigating, threatening, and otherwise abusing my Spouse and I over an extended period of time. Our house has been x-rayed, infra-red searched, and surveillance continues weekly. Like everyone, I am a by product of different sets of genetic material that contain pre-dispositional tendencies towards certain environmental influences. My Dad is of Middle Eastern descent, my Mother is English. I am calm and fun loving appearing on the outside, explosive on the inside. I am motivated by Nature, music, humor, work, and best efforts in all worthwhile social endeavors. I derive my income from self employment I which I provide specialized auto services, which are in high demand. I like privacy and am not interested in public life, but rather an open line to offer positive ideas. I am an influence in many areas, but only get credit for one area. Like one of my favorite musicians, George Harrison, "I'll remain anonymous as long as I get my share of the money." I am not greedy, and I earn every penny of what I am allowed to keep. I could charge almost twice what I charge for my services and still give everyone a good deal compared to the standard charges. My work is top of the line, and I have a personal goal "to do the most with the least" through efficiency, good management, moderation, and thoughtful planning. America is in a stage of very poor performance as a social system that has so much potential; and America has a "leadership personality type disorder," in my opinion. My opinion is based on my experience and education, which has come mostly from the United States social system; plus I have B.A. with Honors from a well known university, am well traveled, and am otherwise accomplished above average levels of measurement and determination. I have long been a pro-true democracy advocate, and an army of one in voicing a need of greater examination into what Americans have learned to call democracy. Only in the last two or three days did I learn of openDemocracy. I am an internationally published author of scientific research, locally with securities documents, corporate and court documents, scripts, and more. Recently I have published a book titled "Why Don't People Like America: A Book About America in Denial." My publisher is Trafford Publishing who has offices in Canada, the United Kingdom (Wistaston Road, Crewe, Cheshire), Spain, Ireland, and the U.S. A preview of the book can be seen at www.trafford.com/robots/04-2841.html The preview is a "patriotic slap in the face of America" that can not be seen, expected, or realized until after the book has been read; as if to "say wake from the stupor America and get off the railroad track before you get run over." Please don't think that money is my primary motivation; I will donate 33% of my net royalties to openDemocracy in support of this group on orders that come from members of this group. I make between $1.66 per copy up to $6.00 and some small change. My book has many uses, all that point to a need for educated democratic solutions of conflicts. For me, pleasure time is rare, due to the demands of a chaotic social system (if I do not want to slip into poverty). Remember, my book is aimed at the psyche of the individual based on 16 core learned through education and perception foundations. I do not think anyone can escape being presented with ideas in the book that they have never heard of before. Plus, I factor in diverse archetype, environmental, and genetic influences like no one I am aware of has ever done. The result is a high quality democratic based philosophy. I would like to invite all of you to help me help people realize the need for an improved form of democracy, and I will give all others the credit for my small success. No matter who your are, I am confident you will find several things in my book that aid in the clarification of issues you only partially understood before you read the book. Who am I if people will not support my efforts to help others? My cause and purpose are positive, and are born out of democratic thought process where all individuals have equal voice that is not influenced by political favor, and under the table agreements and pay offs. I am not an argumentative type, but I can hold my own in any debate relative to most political, economic, religious, and other controversial subjects, however, I do not like to argue. You may find my "spiritual beliefs" to a healing relief, or you may struggle to grasp the essence of my metaphors, which in time will become clear. I can say what I think needs to be said, and then walk away confident that will some people will benefit immensely from my input; and in diverse areas of thought and action. My customers trust me with millions of dollars of inventory on a daily basis (even give me keys to the store), just like all of you can trust me to increase your potential to see what is hiding in the light, right in front of our eyes and in bombardment of our ears. I am not special, but my perspective is unique, and fun to consider. Thank you; Sincerely, Joseph P. Freije americandialogue@msn.com

Um, no offense, but you sound paranoid. The fore fathers of this country set basic groundwork for American values based on what they saw wrong with England. They have stood the test of time. Free will was given to all humans, not just Americans. Weapons that kill are not just and American thing, nor is war for real estate,(just take a peek at the Israeli/Palestinian issue over a chunk of dirt) I disagree with your premise. The constitution is fine, it's the people who stray from it that's not. We need only one change-to make those in power directly accountable for their actions. If righteous, then they will stand in the light...if not, they should be prosecuted and summarily punished once all facts are in evidence by an unbiased group with no political affiliation. But that's my thought. Good luck with your book.

Jesus Christ, I blame England for this boring conversation, all they had to do was tax you and they couldn't even do that properly...
