About Ana Cristina Suzina

Ana Cristina Suzina is a Brazilian journalist with a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the University of Louvain (Belgium). She is a researcher at the SMAG (“Social Movements in the Global Age” UCLouvain). She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of communication for social change, working in social organizations and campaigns, and studying the citizen appropriation of media.

Ana Cristina Suzina es periodista brasileña y doctora en Ciencias Políticas y Sociales por la Universidad de Lovaina (Bélgica). Es investigadora en el SMAG ("Movimientos sociales en la era global", UC Louvain), con más de 20 años de experiencia en el campo de la comunicación para el cambio social, trabajando en organizaciones y campañas sociales y estudiando la apropiación ciudadana de los medios de comunicación.
