About Andreas Hackl

Andreas Hackl is an Austrian journalist and anthropologist who has worked as a correspondent and analyst for various media since 2011, including the Swiss newspaper NZZ, the Austrian Wiener Zeitung, and the UN's agency for humanitarian news and analysis, IRIN. He is also conducting a PhD at the University of Edinburgh on the Palestinian citizens of Israel. He is the co-founder of Transformations-blog.com, an anthropology-driven online magazine on politics, culture and change.
