Botagoz Seydakhmetova is a freelance journalist from Almaty, Kazakhstan. She was for 16 years the editor of the international politics department of the republic’s “New Generation” newspaper in Almaty, and has presented her own online radio programme. She has also worked with the London based Institute for War and Peace Reporting.
