Giorgio Ghiglione is an Italian freelance journalist and video journalist, whose short docs and video work have appeared on Al Jazeera Plus and “la 7” (Italy’s main independent TV station). His print work has been published by The Christian Science Monitor, Vice Italy, Vocativ, In These Times, Il Manifesto and Pagina99, an Italian weekly magazine. His work focuses on grassroots movements and social issues including environmental issues, migrant workers' civil and human rights, and the LGBT community.
