About Iliyas Mamadiyarov

Iliyas Mamadiyarov is a research assistant at the French Institute for Central Asian Studies (IFEAC). Previously, Iliyas worked as Director of the International Student Office and as a part-time instructor at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). He holds an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from Jean Moulin University Lyon 3, France. Iliyas’ research interests include social capital, the concept of trust, and formal and informal institutions and community development in post-Soviet Central Asia.
