About Jessie Fungayi Majome
Jessie Fungayi Majome is a lawyer and is serving her first term as an elected Member of Zimbabwe's Parliament. She has more than ten years’ experience in mainstream politics, having been elected to local government, and working in the women’s movement. She successfully pushed for affirmative action, including a voluntary party quota, to enhance her chances of representing her party in the 2008 elections.
