Joanna Wiseman is completing a PhD in Human Geography at Newcastle University. Her project is funded by ESRC and the Scottish Refugee Council and focuses on the experiences of young refugees and asylum seekers in Glasgow. She has worked closely with the British Red Cross and the Scottish Guardianship Service.
