About Jogchum Vrielink and Eva Brems

Jogchum Vrielink is a postdoctoral researcher at the Catholic University of Leuven and manager of RELIGARE, a European project (FP7) on law and religious diversity (www.religareproject.eu). His research interests include freedom of speech, religious liberty, discrimination law, issues of diversity and legal anthropology.
Eva Brems is a professor of human rights law at Ghent University and a member of the Belgian federal parliament for the Green party. In her former capacity, her research interests include numerous areas of international, European, Belgian and comparative human rights law, in particular women's rights and diversity issues. In her latter capacity, she was the only member of the Belgian Parliament to vote against the 'burqa ban'.
