Leonardo Sakamoto is an activist, journalist, and researcher, with a PhD in Political Science from the University of Sao Paulo. Having worked on slavery eradication for over 17 years, Leonardo is a member of the Board of Trustees of the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund on Contemporary Forms of Slavery, and Director of the NGO Repórter Brasil, which does work to eradicate slave labour.
