About Marcia Cavalcante-Schuback

Marcia Cavalcante-Schuback is professor in Philosophy at Södertörn University, Huddinge, Sweden.  Her PhD is from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1992), with the thesis "O começo de deus, on Schelling’s concept of beginning". She has published numerous articles and three monographs in philosophical hermeneutics. During the last three years Calvacante-Schuback has been leading the research project "Loss of grounds as common ground". She is co-editor of Södertörn Philosophical Studies. Member of the editorial board of Journal for Comparative and Continental Philosophy. Member of the editorial board of Philosophy today.
