About Niki Adams

Niki Adams is a volunteer with Legal Action for Women (LAW), a grassroots legal service for all women. LAW works on the basis of collective self-help and its “comprehensive and practical” Guide Against Detention and Deportation has been used by thousands of people, including those in detention, to insist on their rights. LAW’s determination that no case is “hopeless” has prevented miscarriages of justice and set important precedents, including the first successful private prosecution for rape in England and Wales.
