In a [Gerrard-esque](http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/4655987.stm?ref=opendemocracy.net) U-turn, police in Scotland have [reversed](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4653545.stm?ref=opendemocracy.net) their earlier decision to cancel the anti-G8 rally at Gleneagles today. The march was scheduled to start at 1pm, but has been put back in order to allow buses to get to [Auchterarder](http://www.scottish-towns.co.uk/perthshire/auchterarder/?ref=opendemocracy.net) in time. The BBC's Mark Simpson reports the atmosphere in the village as "calm and good-natured".
