Remember this oD today [blog entry ](../../..//?permalink=The-Wolf-case-So-much-for-freedom-of-speech-1.html&smm=y)about Josh Wolf, the blogger/freelance reporter who was thrown in jail after he refused to hand out some video footage to court? His blog is still regularly updated by his friends, while [Boing Boing](http://www.boingboing.net/2006/08/22/free%5Fjosh%5Fwolf%5Fupdat.html?ref=opendemocracy.net) relays some news:

*"Interesting to note that the SFPD (San Fransisco Police Department) didn't bother to show up for the hearing, isn't it?
