eBay might be [earnestly taking down auctions](http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/04/07/ebay%5Fvotes/?ref=opendemocracy.net) from disillusioned members of the UK electorate trying to turn their vote into a hard cash, but that hasn't stopped [this site](http://www.voteforsale.co.uk/?ref=opendemocracy.net) from launching. Votes for sale - can this really be the logical conclusion of "political party's wills to buy the electorate"? Although I've already got one vote I don't know what to do with, it seems [there might be a market elsewhere](http://www.theherald.co.uk/politics/37216.shtml?ref=opendemocracy.net) for your vote. I'm taking bets on how soon it is before sell-your-vote-to-a-squaddie.co.uk gets launched.
