[Global Voices reports](http://www.globalvoicesonline.org/2006/02/20/all-quiet-on-the-chinese-front/?ref=opendemocracy.net) that Chinese bloggers are being very quiet about the issues of press freedom, Google and the US Congress, that have Western media all riled up. There is, however, heated discussion about the so-called [Steamed Bun Lawsuit](http://www.zonaeuropa.com/culture/c20060216%5F1.htm?ref=opendemocracy.net), where the director of Farewell My Concubine, Chen Kaige, has sued the creator of a 20-min spoof based on his film. Intellectual property trumps censorship. Similar outcomes different perpetrators. One must seem easier to take on than the other.
