At college I used to boil eggs in my kettle, not because I wanted to save energy, but because I was lazy. [This site](http://www.winexmagazine.com/index.php/wine/vieweat/dishwasher-salmon/?ref=opendemocracy.net) takes the concept even further by showing you how to poach salmon in the dishwasher. Next they'll be telling us that we can fry eggs on car bonnets. (...oh, wait.)
