"I deeply condemn these atrocities. As a Spaniard I can only sympathise with Lonoonders at the moment, having lived through a similar experience last year.

Luckily, I wasn't directly affected by yesterday's bombings, but safe in my office. However, when I wanted to go back home in the evening, my travel time took me about three times as long as it usually does.

It does bring back memories, but I think that the British media handle the situation a lot better than the Spanish did. I am glad they are not publishing as many horrifying pictures as we had of the Madrid bombings."
