According to today's ePolitix bullet Home Office minister Tony McNulty has said he is sure of the anti-terror Bill's 42 day provision "success" and that the government can get its Counter-Terrorism Bill through the Commons. In an interview with [ePolitix.com](http://www.epolitix.com/EN/News/200803/07d41eed-a80e-47de-98ae-db4550f4aa07.htm?ref=opendemocracy.net), McNulty insisted the legislation next week would survive any Labour rebellions. "In the meetings and discussions I have had on this I have found that when you do set it out properly there is a greater responsiveness to it as opposed to simply saying 'let's go to 42 days permanently'," McNulty added.
