**Anthony Barnett (London,** [**OK**](http://ourkingdom.opendemocracy.net/?ref=opendemocracy.net)**):** Team OK have been in a reformers seminar all day. And what a difference a day can make.

- Peter Hain finally resigned, I am confident that, as I wrote at the start, it was the creation of his Front Tank which made it look as if constructive camouflage had taken place not "just" an innocent mistake. [Nick Robinson](http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/nickrobinson/?ref=opendemocracy.net) thinks slightly differently.
- The government released its Bill setting it on course for 42 days jail without charge. There is an excellent press release from [Human Rights Watch](http://www.hrw.org/backgrounder/eca/uk1007/?ref=opendemocracy.net) I'll reproduce in the comments below. Please support [not a day longer](http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8018032131). Hain may now be the past - this cannot be our future.
- The Ministry of Justice finally released its long awaited [Review of our Voting Systems](http://www.justice.gov.uk/news/newsrelease240108a.htm?ref=opendemocracy.net).
- The [Alliance for Lobbying Transparency](http://www.lobbyingtransparency.org/?ref=opendemocracy.net) was launched.

Have I missed anything?
