Ahmet Insel is a professor (retired) at Galatasaray University in Istanbul and at Paris 1 Sorbonne University. He coordinates the editors board of Iletisim Publishing house (Istanbul) and is a columnist for the Cumhuriyet newspaper. His last book published was, “La nouvelle Turquie d’Erdogan. Du reve démocratique à la dérive autoritaire” (La Découverte, Paris, 2017).
