Anne White is a professor of Polish Studies at UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies and also teaches English to parents at a Polish Saturday School. Her publications include Polish Families and Migration since EU Accession (Bristol: Policy Press, 2011) and numerous articles on return migration in the journals International Migration and Europe-Asia Studies. She organises the Polish Migration Website.
