
Annissa Warsame is a journalist and student at the University of Exeter, reading History and Politics. She was Editor-in-Chief of Cornwall's only student paper, The Falmouth Anchor. During which, the paper won two regional awards and Annissa was shortlisted for three national awards, winning 'Special Mention’ for her story ‘Living as a Refugee in Cornwall.’
Annissa was Shine A Light’s first apprentice under its ‘Bright Young Reporter’ scheme.
