Anya Lipska is the pen name of a TV producer and scriptwriter who has worked on a wide range of factual programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and international broadcasters such as National Geographic.  She trained as a journalist before going into TV and in her early career produced and directed current affairs documentaries like Panorama and Dispatches. She now oversees programmes spanning history, science and the arts.  She is married to a Pole who spent his early years in Poland during the Solidarnosc uprising of the early Eighties.
