Ikegame works as a Research Associate on the Open University Oecumene research project. She completed
her PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh in 2007. Her
recent publications include: Princely India Re-imagined: a historical
anthropology of Mysore from 1799 to the present (2012, Routledge) and The
Guru in South Asia: new interdisciplinary perspectives (co-edited with
Jacob Copeman, 2012, Routledge).
