Azzam Al-Kassir is a Syrian researcher. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Politics at Birkbeck, University of London. His research interests are centred on modern political Islamic thought and radical Islamism. He is particularly interested in the processes of framing in social movements, focusing on Salafi-Jihadism.
