Barbara Zollner is Lecturer of Middle East Politics at the Department of Politics, Birkbeck College in London. Her academic research focuses on the Muslim Brotherhood and Egyptian politics. She is author of The Muslim Brotherhood: Hasan al-Hudaybi and Ideology (Routledge, 2008); she contributed to Roel Meijer and Edwin Bakker eds. The Muslim Brotherhood in Europe: Transnationalization and Localization of an Islamist Movement (Hurst & Co., 2012) and to Shahram Akbarzadeh ed.
