Bruno Oliveira Martins is a senior researcher at the Peace Research Institute Oslo and at Malmö University. He leads the OSF-funded project TRANSAD: Transnational Academic Network for the Study of Armed Drones. The Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) is an institution that conducts research on the conditions for peaceful relations between states, groups and people. The project TRANSAD creates a transnational academic network for the study of armed drones, aiming at bringing together a diversified group of experts that work on the proliferation and usage of armed drones. It aims at creating a stable and long-term oriented structure of internationally renowned scholars from across Europe and beyond, aiming at advancing the study of armed drones and to communicate its findings to the broader society outside academia.
