Caitlin Procter is a Max Weber Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, the European University Institute, Florence. Her work primarily is on the politics of migration in Gaza, based on extensive fieldwork conducted in the Gaza Strip. She previously held a Research Fellowship at the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University, and has a PhD in International Development from the University of Oxford on Palestinian refugee youth political participation in East Jerusalem. She also works extensively as a humanitarian consultant around the Middle East with multiple UN agencies.
