Cameron Adams is a medical anthropologist affiliated with the University of Kent, Canterbury. He has done research on Highland Maya concepts of physiology and the cognitive metaphor used to describe it, and on the social and political facets of healing with psychedelics. He is one of the five founding organisers and current co-organiser of Breaking Convention: An Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Consciousness.
