Carlos Covarrubias is a Portland-born Chicano, activist, and writer who works with groups promoting racial dialogue and tenants’ advocacy, and resisting mass incarceration and police violence. He has provided federal court testimony on police profiling and is currently working to bring to light Portland's invisible history of Ku Klux Klan influence and fraternization.
