Carlos Huneeus is associate professor of the Instituto de Estudios Internacionales, Universidad de Chile. Among his books are El Régimen de Pinochet (Santiago, Editorial Sudamericana Chilena, 2000), published as The Pinochet Regime (Lynne Reinner, 2007), and Chile Un Pais Dividido: La actualidad del pasado (Santiago, Catalonia, 2003). He is a contributor to Adam Roberts & Timothy Garton Ash eds., Civil Resistance and Power Politics: The Experience of Non-violent Action from Gandhi to the Present (Oxford University Press, 2009)
