Christine Townsend is a Bristolian and secondary school teacher. For over 20 years she has worked with some of the most disadvantaged young people in the UK. She co-founded Integrate Bristol and occupies a voluntary and community sector seat on Bristol's Children's Safeguarding Board. Christine is also the vice-chair of Bristol School Forum. She recently stood as the only female independent candidate in Bristol's mayoral election as part of her ongoing struggle for equality for all for Bristol's children.
