Christopher Rowland is Professor of the Exegesis of Holy Scripture Emeritus in the Faculty of Theology, University of Oxford. His research interests include the interpretation of the New Testament, the apocalyptic tradition in ancient Judaism and Christianity, the theology of liberation, and the biblical hermeneutics of William Blake.
