Colin Walch is a PhD candidate at the department of peace and conflict research in association with the Centre for Natural Disaster Science (CNDS) at Uppsala University. His research focuses on the impact of armed conflict on disaster-risk reduction and management, mainly in the Philippines. He previously worked for different NGOs in Liberia, Colombia and Belgium.
