The authors have various backgrounds in activism, research and
publishing. Their education includes a wide range of discliplines e.g. engineering, philosophy and anthropology. All of them are members of the Commons Institut (Germany) which was founded in 2014. In the Institute they think about, discuss and practice commoning.
