David A. Edwards is a retired priest of the Anglican Church who has worked as a university chaplain, a parish priest in Manchester, Birmingham and Cumbria, and in training candidates for the ministry in Sarawak. He holds a PhD in historical theology from New College, Edinburgh, and was the inter-collegiate secretary of the Student Christian Movement in Liverpool. His son Michael is the editor of Transformation.
