Deniz Kellecioglu is an Economic Affairs Officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). His 2016 PhD dissertation was entitled What is required for (r)evolutions? – the case of economics. Since 1999, he has been an activist in various capacities and countries, making many presentations on global development issues, publishing opinion pieces, blogs, booklets, book chapters and journal articles, including the popular,‘Why some countries are rich and some poor – a non-Eurocentric view’.
