Elias Steinhilper is a doctoral candidate in Political Science and Sociology at Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence and currently Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley, Institute for the Study of Societal Issues. He works on networks of self-organized refugee activism in Europe, and is furthermore involved in various refugee solidarity initiatives in Germany.
