Emma Bell is Senior Lecturer in British Studies at the Université de Savoie, France. She is the author of “Criminal Justice and Neoliberalism” (2011) and her most recent book is “Soft Power and Freedom under the Coalition: State-Corporate Power and the Threat to Democracy”, both published by Palgrave Macmillan.
