Fahem Boukadous is a journalist and an outspoken critic of Tunisia’s record on press freedom. Imprisoned by the Ben Ali regime following his coverage of violent protests in the Gafsa mining region in 2008, Boukadous later co-founded the Tunisian Committee for the Protection of Journalists and the Tunisian Centre for Press Freedom.
