Fatou Guèye is a Professor of Economics. She has been active in community-based organizations since 1978. Throughout this time she has remained committed to the development of strong female leadership. President of the ACAPES Women and Development Commission from 1996 to 2002, she is currently a member of the Administrative Council of ACAPES Senegal. She is a founder member of USOFORAL, the Regional Committee of Women’s Solidarity for Peace in Casamance.
