Gabriel Bonis is a researcher on refugees and a former refugee caseworker at the British Red Cross in London. Currently, he is conducting research in Greece for the Rights in Exile Programme, where he investigates the mobilisation of locals in Thessaloniki and Idomeni to help refugees transiting through the country. Gabriel holds a masters in international relations from Queen Mary, University of London and a postgraduate degree in politics and international relations. He is also a journalist.
