Geoffrey Ingham is a Life Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge where he has taught sociology and political economy since 1972. He is the author of The Nature of Money (Cambridge: Polity, 2004); Capitalism: with a Postscript on the Financial Crisis (Cambridge: Polity,2011); a festschrift in honour of his work was recently published: Jocelyn Pixley and G. C. Harcourt (eds) Financial Crises and the Nature of Capitalist Money: Mutual Developments from the Work of Geoffrey Ingham (Palgrave Macmillan 2013)
