Giovanni Pagani has an MSc in Middle East Politics from the London School of Oriental and African Studies. He wrote his dissertation on urban reconstruction and sectarian fragmentation in post-war Beirut, where he spent a month for research. He is currently collaborating with the Italian news agency Nena-News.
