Gunes Murat Tezcur teaches political science at Loyola University, Chicago. He specialises in the politics of Iran, Turkey, and Kurdish nationalism. He is the author of Muslim Reformers in Iran and Turkey: The Paradox of Moderation (University of Texas Press, 2010)
