Hadani Ditmars is an author,
journalist, and photographer who has reported from
Lebanon, Israel/Palestine, and Iraq, as well as countries in Africa, Latin America and Europe. Her work has been published inter alia in the New York Times, Al-Jazeera, Independent (London), Globe and
Mail (Toronto), and broadcast on the CBC and BBC. Her books include the best-selling Dancing in the No Fly Zone (Raincoast, 2005/Arris, 2006), about her experience in Iraq from 1997-2003. She is currently working on a political travelogue of ancient sites in Iraq. Her website is here.
